Presentation of Tutorials

A) Description : Fist of all the topics in the syllabus under discussion are explained in a descriptive manner. For instance if Chola rule in south India is discussed it will be presented comprehensively in details, it's founders, rules, administration, society and polity, culture, major wars fought etc.

B) Test Paper : Then within the Audio Cassette test papers are set on the particular topic in question - answer form

C) Objective Information : After descriptive analysis and test papers objective information which is important from the point of view of Exam is presented on every topic.

The above mentioned method of presentation through description, test papers and objective information makes the presentation comprehensive and the material interesting and easy to retain. Sometimes soft music is filled in to prevent material from becoming dry and tiresome particularly after long and hard topics.

Descriptive : 
Ancient History : The prehistoric period, The Harappan culture, Vedic age, Age of Buddha, The Mauryan Empire, Post Mauryan Period (200 B.C. - 300 A.D.), Foreign invasion. The Gupta period, the post-Gupta period, History of South India.

Medieval History : Northern India from 8th to 12th Century A.D., the sultanate of Delhi, provincial kingdom after Sultanate, The Mughal Empire and decline, Marathas.

Modern : Advent of Europe and commerce, The British Expansion and consolidation in India, Governor-Generals and viceroys during British period and major events during their rules, various aspects of British rule like Press, Education, Constitutional development, Social reform etc.

Indian National Movement : (1857 - 1947)
Objective : Famous battle in Indian history, books, foreign travelers, socio-religious reform movements, tribal movements, peasants movements, revolutionary organization, famous trial of nationalist periods, important sessions of Indian national congress, landmark in freedom struggle etc.

INDIAN POLITY:
Descriptive : Historical perspective of Indian constitution, salient features of the constitutions, citizenship, fundamental rights, fundamental duties, directive principals, union executive, union legislature, state legislature, federalism in India, judiciary in India, election commission, emergency provisions, constitutional amendments, civil services, scheduled and tribal areas, panchayats and municipalities.

Objective Information : Terms associated with legislation, parliamentary terms etc. Major constitutional amendments, schedules of constitution, important articles in the constitution etc. Test papers (after every topic)

Indian Economy 
Descriptive : Indian agriculture, Rural development, Rural indebtedness, Cooperative movement, Indian industry, Indian financial system, foreign trade and balance payments, the planning in India  Government subsidies in India, Economic reforms.

Objective : Glossary of Major economic terms, latest in Indian economy with current data etc. Test papers within cassettes.

Science and Technology : There is no strictly specifies syllabus for the prelimn's exams. But the questions asked are such that they want an understanding of particular principals and their application. Keeping this in view our science and technology cassettes consist of following :

A.) Comprehensive discussion of basic principals and concepts in physics, chemistry & biology.

B.) A discussion of major scientific terms, principals, laws etc. in a alphabetic order form A to Z. For instance explanation of terms like Adsorption, Agglutination, Archimedes principals, Zee man effects, Zygote etc.

C.) Explanation of scientific principals, concept and laws through question answer form.
